Each month you should try to keep up-to-date

  • exclusion and absence figures
  • violence and aggression against staff
  • bullying and racist incidents
  • 5-14 data input

Thereafter the following administrative task occur:

August First day back complete a quick return on the school roll
 September

Mid September report back to PMU the official school roll figures
End of September produce the ScotXed census files. The roll figure should match the figure reported earlier to PMU

October 

Set SEN/IEP targets
Report back on last session's SEN/IEP progress
Report to PMU on first term's exclusions and any absences in excess of 20 days.

November Mid November your Handbook data should be available from the National Priorities website
December Publish school handbook
January Provide analysis of school’s staff development provision as well as CPD needs of staff to Staff Development Unit
Report to PMU current position on exclusions and any absences in excess of 20 days.

By early June all 5-14 data should be entered into Phoenix, checked and ready for export to ScotXed
